Hope your weekend was great! This past week was a little rocky for me due to a shoulder injury, but I got back into the game Saturday with an 11 mile run – finishing out the week strong! Since I really didn’t get any short runs in last week I really want to focus on getting at least three in this week.
The weather took a turn this past week. It now feels like fall! I love it! Although my Saturday morning run was a little chilly, it is much better than running in 100 degree weather. I’m still debating on what to wear for race day. As of now I’m thinking running pants, a tank top and a long sleeve dri-fit that I can take off if I get hot.
I am on the home stretch now with less than 2 weeks to go. I am now realizing that it is soooo soon. I’m not even doing long runs anymore. This week my goal to plan for the days, weeks, months after the race. I need to make some decisions soon: an eating plan, a new exercise plan, do I sign up for a spring race? I am thinking about buying this Groupon. Hmmm… I need to keep moving forward.
